I'm the founder and leader of The FilmmakeHers, a women+ film community which hosts a monthly salon featuring leading industry guests and mentors in film, television, and digital content. With chapters in New York & Los Angeles, our mission is education and collaboration.
My production company, Small Media Extra Large, founded with my husband Don Downie has clients both big and small; Meta, Sesame Street, Nickelodeon, TED, and theSkimm. We are developing his feature comedy The Spirit of Detroit (an Academy Nicholl SemiFinalist) and have a new short that is about to start its
festival run.
